WAITIRI CREEK PINOT NOIR

2014 Central Otago Pinot Noir

Fragrant perfume, herb, mushroom, and a hint of spicy oak.

The palate is dry with sweet, stewed plum, Xmas cake, leather, mushroom and tobacco. Richly textured with very fine silky tannins. Complex and concentrated. Medium to full-bodied with a lingering sweet cherry finish.

Aging beautifully and drinking well now! Has a few more years in it.
- Pete Bartle (Wine Maker)

2013 Central Otago Pinot Noir

Ripe, warm and sweetly fragrant, the inviting bouquet shows dark cherry, plum, game and truffle characters with hints of cedar and vanilla. The palate offers terrific fruit richness and generous texture, beautifully framed by fine tannins. The wine is immediately appealing, although it will develop greater complexity with time. Pretty delicious.

Complex, complete and ready. A bouquet of pinosity and ripe varietal fruit, a fine savoury and dried herb complexity with a natural core of minerality and spices from toasty barrel. The oak layers in a lees and mild toasty barrel quality. Balanced, well made and ready to drink or continue to cellar with with best drinking from 2024 through 2030 and on.”

HARRIET ROSÉ

2022 Central Otago Rosé

Hues of onion skin and salmon with a highly polished appearance lead to a bouquet of red apple and peach, a mix of rose and quiet fine lees-complexity and mineral-stone suggestion. Lovely on the palate with a crunchy texture and core fruit flavours of apple and peach touching first. A dry wine with very fine fruit tannins and plenty of acidity for texture and length. Well made with best drinking from 2024 through to the end of summer 2025.

WAITIRI CREEK CHARDONNAY

2022 Central Otago Chardonnay

Stylish and complex, the bouquet shows apricot, rockmelon, vanilla and roasted cashew notes, followed by a wonderfully weighted palate delivering creamy texture backed by beautifully pitched acidity, finishing long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2027.

WAITIRI PINOT GRIS

2022 Waitiri Creek Pinot Gris

Aromas and flavours of pear and quince, fresh yellow apple, and a whisper of savoury dried spice. There's a fine lees and mineral synergy with some pressed flowers and spring air lift. A silky texture touches the palate first; then a contrasting acid line carries the flavours of white-fleshed fruits that mirror the bouquet.

Balanced, refreshing, well made, and ready to drink from early 2024 through 2029. - Cameron Douglas, MS

WAITIRI GEWÜRZTRAMINER

2016 Waitiri Creek Gewürztraminer

Really good colour with a core of yellow and pale golden tones leading to a fragrant, almost heady bouquet of spice and white fleshed fruits, some fresh, some baked. The spice and floral tones of the variety are loud and clear along with a light toasty quality from bottle development. Satin-cream texture as the wine touches the palate, moderate acidity then flavours that reflect the bouquet finishing with a spice and dried herb quality.

Balanced and ready to drink from today - Cameron Douglas, MS
